Policies & Procedures
Please click the link below, which summarizes S&R’s Policies & Procedures.
The Covid-19 pandemic has necessitated changes in how members will access the tennis courts. Staff will be required to document play activity on all courts as a safety measure. If someone tests positive for Covid-19 and has recently played tennis at the club, we will have to be able to chart the member’s play time/date and who they played with as a means to notify the health department and other players on the court. So long as these safety measures are in place, members will be required to book a court in advance and sign in at the pro shop. When the tennis facility opens, court reservations can be made by calling the pro shop at 614-451-2314 or emailing the pro shop at firstname.lastname@example.org. We want to ensure that all members have the opportunity to make use of the courts. Court booking times will be limited to 2 hours, a member will only be able to book one court a day, and the number of guests may be limited. There may be some flexibility in court bookings when the courts are not busy.
Court Safety Measures
Each playing side of every court will be furnished with access to hand sanitizer, though we encourage members and guests to bring their own to the facility. End-cap courts will have chairs for players, spaced no less than 6 feet apart. Please do not move the chairs. Do your best to wipe down your chair after your match/lesson is completed. Our staff will monitor the facility and we will make sure the facility is property sanitized; however, we encourage members and guest to help keep the facility safe. The restrooms will be open for use and will be properly sanitized by staff.
Members and guests need to provide their own water and towels. Extra apparel is also recommended. It will be a hot summer, please keep that in-mind. Water bottles will be made available at the pro-shop, member accounts will be charged.
Hours of Operation
The facilities will open at 8 am and close at 11 pm (court lights are automatically shut off at 11 pm). Per the Covid-19 Policies & Procedures, when your timed court reservation ends, please exit the facility in a reasonable time-frame. We ask that members abide by the regulations in place, no social gathering after your tennis match/lesson ends. There will be no guest services, tables, chairs etc.
